Brite-Line Europe sponsored the University of Zagreb’s Road Safety Summer School 2026

Innovation for safe and accessible building sites

On 25 August, the focus was on innovative solutions for greater safety and accessibility on building sites.

  • Harrald Bobeck presented new developments in temporary road markings – including digitally detectable marking solutions.

  • Jan Droege introduced NavTac, a temporary tactile guidance system that helps blind and visually impaired people find their way around construction sites.

  • Tim Dennis Tusar from Saferoad provided insights into modern restraint systems and solutions for road safety.

This joint exchange between academia, industry and practitioners demonstrates that innovative solutions can make construction sites safer, more accessible and more sustainable.

We would like to thank the University of Zagreb and the organising team of the Road Safety Summer School for the invitation and the valuable exchange of ideas.
